Experience broadcast-quality sound directly on your iOS smartphone or tablet with the Saramonic SmartMic+ Di. This compact directional microphone connects directly to your mobile device's Lightning port, eliminating cable clutter for hassle-free recording. Perfect for vlogging, live streaming, and mobile video production, the SmartMic+ Di boasts a lightweight and durable metal housing that can be adjusted to match the direction of your front- or rear-facing camera. With its plug-and-play design, this mic requires no batteries or charging-simply plug it in, open your preferred recording app, and start capturing professional-grade audio effortlessly.
The condenser capsule delivers a tailored-for-speech frequency response of 75 Hz to 20 kHz, and utilises a cardioid polar pattern to provide focused sound pickup with reduced ambience. To attenuate wind noise and protect the mic from dust whether shooting indoors or outside, foam and furry windscreens are included. In addition to the Lightning male plug for connecting to your recording device, the SmartMic+ Di has a 3.5mm TRS headphone port, allowing you to monitor audio without having to disconnect the mic.
- Provides broadcast-quality sound to Lightning-equipped iPhones and iPads by plugging into your mobile device's Lightning port when shooting video, recording audio, live streaming, vlogging, podcasting, and more
- Directional cardioid pickup pattern clearly captures sounds in front of the mic while rejecting sounds to the sides and rear
- Can be positioned facing forward when using the selfie camera, or facing outward for standard shooting
- Metal housing is lightweight, compact, and ultra-portable while maintaining durability
- Simple plug-and-play usage; never requires batteries or charging
- 3.5mm headphone jack for real-time monitoring while making recordings (app dependent) and listening to playback without removing the microphone
