The Eaton RCP100-BLK-LT is a rack power distribution unit equipped with a remote emergency power off switch that lets you cut power to an entire rack with a single press. The device fits into just 1U of vertical space in a standard 19-inch rack, so it adds essential safety functionality without crowding servers or networking gear.
Because the switch uses a latching design, power remains off until a deliberate reset, helping technicians avoid accidental restarts while performing maintenance or responding to alarms. This makes the unit a practical choice for data centers, corporate server rooms, network closets, and laboratory environments where equipment protection and personnel safety are priorities.
Installation takes only a few minutes; the chassis weighs about one pound, allowing one person to position and secure it without assistance. RoHS compliance supports environmental policies, and the three-year warranty provides added peace of mind when you are deploying the unit in critical applications.
Highlights:
- Remote emergency power off for immediate rack shutdown
- Occupies just 1U in a standard 19-inch rack
- Latching power control prevents unintended restart
- RoHS compliant construction
- Lightweight design at roughly 1 lb for quick installation
- Backed by a 3-year Eaton warranty
